Yes, Cooper Lighting Solutions is recalling the retail solar motion LED floodlight fixtures listed above. This recall is being conducted in coordination with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
How many units are involved?
The recall includes all fixtures with the catalog/model numbers and UPC codes listed above that were manufactured in China and sold from January 2015 through July 2018.

Batteries can overheat and melt.

We have received no reports of damage to the electrical circuit.

No.
Have there been incidents reported?
We received a small number of reports of potential fixtures melting, and, as a result, we have decided to recall the product in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. We have received no reports of injury.
