Eaton's Cooper Lighting business is expanding its WaveStream™ LED technology product offering to now include the Neo-Ray Index™ direct/indirect pendant luminaires, Corelite Divide recessed, suspended and wall luminaires, the Metalux SkyBar™ LED High Bay Series and new Halo SLD Surface LED Downlights. Products satisfy a range of architectural, commercial, industrial and retail space lighting applications and offer unmatched performance and energy efficiency.

LED Solutions Improve Lighting Performance and Efficiency at Detroit Metropolitan Airport

  • The Detroit Metropolitan Airport is in the process of replacing 6,050 parking garage fixtures with McGraw-Edison Valet and Ventus LED luminaires, improving efficiencies and optical performance. The conversion from 210W metal halide fixtures to 60W LED products will result in a 66 percent reduction in power consumption with an anticipated overall energy and maintenance savings of approximately $1.2 million annually.

Eaton's Cooper Lighting business was once again part of the University of Kansas' Studio 804 sustainability initiative, this year providing a range of LED solutions to be included in its new Ecohawk Research Facility. Designed to aid in the research, fabrication and refurbishment of electric vehicles, the facility stands as the school's sixth LEED Platinum-rated building.
