In its 37th year, the comprehensive forum provides an opportunity for representatives across all industries to learn how economic and market forces, new technologies, regulatory developments and trends are helping to shape the critical decisions that guide our energy and economic future.

ENERGY STAR® Campaign: A Picture is Worth A Thousand Words Dollars

Do you have old, inefficient downlights that you would like to replace? This exciting new campaign asks consumers to submit photos of these inefficient fixtures for a chance to win new Halo LED downlights. A team of judges from Eaton’s Cooper Lighting business will select the most creative and imaginative photos for the first place award of $1,000 of HALO LED retrofit fixtures. Two second place winners, selected randomly, will win $500 of HALO LED retrofit fixtures. The photo contest will run through November 30, 2014.

Resource Explains New ASHRAE 90.1-2010 Requirements

Eaton's Cooper Controls has created an informational resource to help explain new lighting control requirements now mandated in the ASHRAE/IES 90.1-2010 standard. The Application Note summarizes the differences between the 2007 and 2010 ASHRAE 90.1 standards ASHRAE/IES 90.1-2010, which became the enforceable national energy standard for the United States as of October 2013 and is designed to improve a building's energy efficiency by 30 percent compared to the ASHRAE 90.1-2004 standard. Significant changes were made to the lighting system and lighting control system requirements.
