I. Eligibility for participation

The IT Channel Eaton Rewards Programme (the “Promotion”) is open to professional UK IT resellers registered on the Eaton UK Power Advantage Partner Programme, purchasing new promotional products via participating Eaton authorised distributor within the UK.  (“Participant”). To qualify for rewards IT Resellers must register with the same email address registered to the Eaton UK Power Advantage Partner Programme. 

By registering and participating in this Promotion, the Participant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The Promotion is open only to Participants of eighteen (18) years of age or older at time of entry. Employees of Eaton Corporation (“Eaton”), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and internet agencies and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter and any entries submitted by these individuals will be invalid.

Registration: Participants will be required to provide their first name, last name, company, job title/position (to the extent applicable), email address, date of birth, company address, postcode, telephone and country in order to register for any Promotion.

Registering a claim: Participants will be required to upload ‘proof of purchase’ for one of the participating products, specify date of sale, quantity, select the vertical segment the product was sold into as well as the End User company name and submit. All claims will be reviewed and eligibility to the Promotion confirmed within a month time via email.

Accepted ‘proof of purchase’ is either a validated purchase order to the claiming reseller, or an invoice from the claiming reseller.

Reasons to decline a ‘proof of purchase’ as eligible are:

The Promotion is granted by Eaton Electric Limited, PO Box 554, Abbey Park, Southampton Road, Titchfield, Hampshire PO14 9ED (“Promoter”). The Promotion is administered by Eaton Electric Ltd and Corporate Rewards 2nd Floor, 20 Timothys Bridge Road, Stratford Upon Avon, Warwickshire CV37 9BF.

II. The Promotion

The Promotion runs from 00:01 GMT 10th of September 2018 until 23:59 GMT 31st December 2019 (the “Promotion Period”.)

The Promotion covers promotion product lines sold within the UK during the Promotion Period through authorised Eaton distributors in the UK.  Promotional product lines are identified in associated collaterals and valid for order & claim during the promotional period only. The full list of qualifying products is available upon request at rewards@eaton.com.

The list of all authorised distributors participating in the promotion will also be provided on request at rewards@eaton.com.

This promotion is capped at £990 per participant, per financial/tax year.

All claims should be submitted on or before the 31st December 2019, claims submitted after this date will not be valid.

A time-limited 5PX/9PX/RX rack promotion will run in October & November 2019, with the following additional Terms and Conditions:

III. Registration & Communication

Participants will need to register and set up an account on the website www.eaton.com/rewards to get access to the reward programme.

Upon successful registration, Participants will receive a password and user ID. The Participant is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their password and account details and is fully responsible for all activities that occur in relation to the password or account.  The Participant shall immediately notify the Promoter of any unauthorised use of Participant’s password, user ID, or account details.

The Participant agrees that for all electronic communications, a user ID is sufficient to verify the sender's identity and the document’s authenticity.

Reward and Redemption of points

Reward points will be awarded to each Participant based on eligible sales claims and excludes products that are returned to the distributor.

The Participant will be required to log claims for each eligible product and upload a proof of purchase. Claims will be reviewed and approved on a monthly basis.

When a claim is approved, the Participant will receive notification via email. Points will then be awarded to their account.

If the claim is declined, the Participant will receive notification via email. The notification will contain an explanation of why the claim has been declined.  The decision of the Promotion manager is final.

Points must be redeemed via the Website.  Prizes, once chosen, can only be changed if the Redeemer contacts enquries@my-rewards.com within 24 hours of the redemption.  There is no cash alternative. 

Participant points will expire after 12 months of allocation to the Participant’s account unless redemptions are made within that 12 month period.

Regarding the Promotion, the Participant can communicate with the Promoter ‘Eaton’ through the website or email at rewards@eaton.com.

Participants should ensure to log out from the Eaton rewards website account at the end of each session.

Any fraudulent activity of accounts, points balances, voucher codes and reward redemptions may result in the termination of Participants account and the cancellation of accrued points or rewards orders placed or both.  The Promoter and Administrator shall seek to recover from the Participant any losses incurred as a result of fraudulent activity.

IV. Pre-paid Eaton Rewards Mastercard

Reward must be redeemed via the website (www.eaton.com/rewards) directly onto an Eaton Rewards MasterCard prepaid card.

After registration, the Participant will be given an option to either opt-in for an electronic card or physical card. Delivery for:

All prepaid cards once received via electronically or physically must be activated prior to use either online at www.my-balance.co.uk  or via the IVR telephone service.

Participants must agree to the MasterCard terms and conditions on the www.my-balance.co.uk  website at time of activation. Additional cardholder fees apply.

In the case where the cumulative card claims reach the limit of £990 per financial/tax year, participants will be notified by Eaton.

The Participant acknowledges that the card issuer retains participant data and has the right to suspend the prepaid card service in the event of such an instruction being made by the Regulatory Authority or if miss-use or fraudulent activity is suspected. There is no liability for direct or indirect losses as a result of suspension of the prepaid card service.

If the Participant is no longer eligible to participate in the Programme for whatever reason the Participant has 30 days in which to use the funds after which The Administrator will remove funds from the card.

The Participant must advise The Administrator immediately on becoming aware that any prepaid card has been lost or stolen. Cards declared as lost in transit which have not been activated will be replaced by The Administrator.

Once a card is activated all risk for the funds on the card passes to the individual Participant.  In the event of a lost, stolen or damaged card, the Card Issuer will issue a replacement card with the available balance at the point of notification transferred to a new card less a £5 charge for re-issuance.

In the case of mis-use or fraudulent activity of a prepaid card service, the Participant acknowledges that it must comply with all requests for data or actions to be taken as given by The Administrator, the Card Issuer or any legal or regulatory body.

V. Data Protection

The Promoter shall act as Data Controller as defined in Data Protection Legislation.  The Promoter agrees to comply with their obligations under all applicable legislation. The Promoter shall share Personal Data with the Administrator for the purposes of administration of the Programme, fulfilment of Rewards orders placed by the Participant, communications regarding the Programme and other Promoter related marketing as outlined in the Privacy Policy:

VI. Miscellaneous

These terms and conditions, their interpretation and any contractual or non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with these are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England & Wales without regard to any conflict of law rules.

Any dispute arising directly or indirectly out of these terms and conditions shall be resolved exclusively by the competent courts in having jurisdiction over the area where the Promoter has its registered office.
