If you missed the 2014 LIGHTFAIR® International (LFI) conference this month in Las Vegas, Nevada, Eaton’s Cooper Lighting business showcased its intuitive, intelligent control solutions. Visitors to the booth learned how the lighting business is integrating control systems throughout its portfolio and could view high-performing lighting solutions that help deliver new levels of performance, quality and return on investment. This included the award-winning WaveStream™ LED technology and the first Wi-Fi-based control solution. In addition, the company showcased a new breakthrough Metalux high bay industrial luminaire that sets industry-leading efficiency levels, delivering more than 200 lumens per watt and up to 70,000 delivered lumens.
The McGraw-Edison TopTier™ LED Parking Garage and Canopy Luminaire and Metalux SkyBar™ High Bay Luminaire have been named winners in the 2014 LFI Innovation Awards®. Presented at the conference on June 3, the competition features the industry’s most innovative products and designs introduced during the last 12 months.

The Washington State University (WSU) campus in Pullman, Washington is a nationally recognized research university comprised of over 630 buildings and the campus is growing.
With many new construction and renovation projects recently completed, ongoing or in planning, the projects are diverse in function, ranging from a renovation of Martin Stadium, to a new residence hall, to the recently completed Veterinary and Biomedical Research building. Eaton’s Cooper Lighting business is now accepting entries for the 38th Annual SOURCE Awards national lighting design competition. The competition, which focuses on furthering the understanding, knowledge and function of lighting as a primary element in design, is open to all lighting designers, architects, engineers, professional designers and consultants who use lighting and controls products from Eaton’s Cooper Lighting business in interior or exterior design projects. Students currently enrolled in any of these disciplines are also eligible to enter projects based on conceptual lighting designs. Entries must be postmarked on or before January 30, 2015, and winners will be announced in May 2015 at LIGHTFAIR® International in New York, New York.
